I’ve been thinking about how to recruit and organize volunteers for a debt clinic and the followup process afterward. I was thinking about starting by asking people who I know are interested in the project how many hours they’d be willing to commit over a certain length of time (like an hour a week over the summer). How have you gone about getting commitments and then putting them together to get the work done.

The Debt Clinics seem to naturally be paired with already existing community justice events or Free Healthfares. Do you have anything like these already on going in your community?
