Loan Forgiveness and Job Corps Program

Hello,

I have student loans dating back to 1994 that I am paying. I’ve previously work in the Job Corps Program which I believe qualifies for loan forgiveness. However, I did not work in the capacity of an instructor or an adminitrator. For what I am understanding, for loan forgiveness, I would have had to function in one of the two capacities. Is there another way I could qualify for forgiveness under working in the Job Corps Program?

I’ve read that if there are loans as old as mine and you have been making payments for a certain number of consecutive payments, a portion of the loan can be forgiven. Is this correct? If so how do I get that process started?
