I’m an older male who owes over $300,000 in student loan debt. Far more than I ever borrowed. I made $1,500 per month payments for years and lived like a monk (in the words of one attorney I met with), to no avail. I’m a citizen of three nations (Mexico, Ireland, and the USA) plus the European Union but leaving the USA isn’t practical for me.
