Hi everyone,
I’m looking to start a SAP FICO course and wanted some advice from those who’ve already gone down this path.
A bit about me: I have a background in finance/accounting and basic ERP exposure, but I’m new to SAP. My goal is to eventually work as an SAP FICO consultant.
I had a few questions:
-
Is it still worth doing an SAP FICO course in 2026?
-
Should I focus on SAP ECC or go directly for SAP S/4HANA (FICO module)?
-
What prerequisites (technical or functional) should I be strong in before starting?
-
Is it better to choose an institute, online live training, or self-paced platforms?
-
How important is certification vs. hands-on project experience?
-
Any recommendations on good training providers or learning paths?
Would really appreciate insights from consultants, freshers, or hiring managers.
Thanks in advance!
