My name is Lisa Burnam. I live in Prince George’s County, MD and I’m running for my county district seat. I’m a mother of two, wife and I have about $11K in student loan debt. I decided to run a month ago and part of my platform includes medical and school debt cancellation.
I really would like to connect with people here who are knowledgeable about debt structures and are open to talking through my ideas about how to achieve cancellation locally. I am also excited to join the debtors union and get active with its campaigns.
