I read that your credit score drops only about 10 points after a Disability Discharge…well it is not correct. My score dropped a flabbergasted 30 points. I’m still reeling. I’m back below 600 again. I looked into it further and found that even though my credit utilization dropped by over $63,000, because the loans were so old it made it look like my credit just started 2 years ago. Beware. Get a loan or buy a home before your TPD is finalized…
